McEACHERN: Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, Friday, October 16, 2009, William "Bill" John McEachern of Grand Bend, formerly of Kitchener, age 86. Beloved husband of Margaret Junette (Wiltshire) McEachern. Loved father and father-in-law of Marilyn and James Thibideau of Grand Bend. Remembered by his 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, nephew Hugh McEachern and brother-in-law Art Nightingale of London. Predeceased by his sisters Margaret, Isabel, Ethel, Florence, brothers Neil and Hugh. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Sunday 1 to 4 p.m.; where the Funeral Service will be held Monday, October 19, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. Tracey Whitson-Bahro officiating. Interment Pinery Cemetery, Grand Bend. Bill served with the Perth Regiment from 1941-1945.
