HODDER: Peacefully, at home, Friday, February 12, 2010, Ella Myra (Watts) Hodder, of Exeter and Port Hilford N.S., age 87. Beloved wife of the late Rev. Benjamin Hodder (1997). Loved mother of Elaine Holt (Dale) of London and Dr. David Hodder (Nora) of Exeter. Loving Nan and Nana of grandchildren John Holt (Michelle), Becky, Jennifer, Thomas and Claire Hodder and great-grandchildren Dylan and Lucas Holt. Cremation . A Memorial Service will take place at the Exeter United Church, Wednesday, February 24, 2010, at 11 a.m. The Rev. Paul Ross officiating. Private family interment will take place this summer in Port Hilford, NS. For more than 50 years, Ella was Ben's partner in their service to God through ministry in United Churches in Saskatchewan, Alberta and Ontario. In 1982 Ella and Ben retired from Kew Beach United Church, Toronto to live in their hearts' home, Port Hilford, NS. For a decade, Ella was a member of the South Huron Hospital Auxiliary, active in the spring and fall rummage sales, as a hospital tour guide and a visitor to the Exeter Villa.
